Hajimu Iwamura 岩村甫
CEO and Founder of KanjiGO
Hajimu Iwamura is the Founder and CEO of KanjiGO, and he graduated in 1973 from the University of Kyoto with a degree in Mathematical Science. Hajimu Iwamura worked for Kuman Educational from 1979-1989 and for the Wao Corporation as a manager from 1990-2000. In 2001, he founded the ALS and focused on the construction of educational teaching materials to teach the Japanese language in Japan for primary and secondary schools. In 2013, he adapted some of ALS’s editorial products into material to teach kanji to foreign students by using a learning method he had created. This was the birth of KanjiGO. After four dedicated years of hard work, with a staff of six people and numerous external collaborators, the course was officially launched in 2017.
Shino Iwamura 岩村しの
Project & Brand Manager
Shino Iwamura graduated from the University of Art in Kyoto and later moved to Europe, where she lived for more than ten years. In 2013, she returned to Japan to work with her father to help him create KanjiGO, concentrating on everything from lesson creation to the graphics of the entire course. Today, she is responsible for the development and implementation of various projects with the goal of enhancing the company’s image.
Adamo Lussana moved to Osaka in 2006 where he studied Japanese for two years and joined the ALS staff in 2008. In 2013, he was entrusted with the role of programmer analyst of KanjiGO, becoming a key figure in the implementation of the entire project. He deals with all things regarding Information Technology, including website management and technical assistance for students.
