I’m currently taking classes in Oriental Languages at UCLA in Los Angeles. I chose KanjiGO after seeing a review on YouTube that explained the mechanism that helps students to memorize kanji and words based on a score evaluation. It’s a valid teaching system and I’m happy that I enrolled and so far I think I’ve convinced 4-5 of my classmates to do the same.

I am a satisfied student of this course. I found an Instagram review, and through further online research I discovered that it was a very popular and well-reviewed course. The lessons are clear and well-structured. I can only say thank you to those who had the strength and time to create this cornerstone for studying kanji.

I have been working in Sapporo for three years as a university researcher and heard about this course from a Facebook group and decided to sign up. I don’t have a lot of time, but I try to study an hour every night and also on the train coming back home from work. It’s pretty difficult, but I’ve been learning some tricks to improve my memorization skills and I’m making progress. If you are serious about studying kanji, this course is the solution.

I signed up for this course having some worries and doubts, but after only a few months I realized that I had made the right choice. This course allows me to have a study plan and with evaluation tests I’m able to see just how much I can memorize, but above all I can also see how much and what I forget, so I can go back and review the specific kanji. If you’re like me and you don’t have money and you study Japanese by yourself, join this course without thinking twice.

I have been studying Japanese for three years at the Japanese Studies Center in Tel Aviv. I took my teacher’s advice and enrolled in KanjiGO. I’m going to be taking the JLPT N2 which includes grammar, reading and listening comprehension, and this course is helping me use a specific study method for kanji, which is really important.

From the very first lessons, I understood that their method was to keep me reading frequently used words with hundreds of exercises. If you think about it, it’s a very simple and logical system, but it works. The most important thing about the course for me was the assessment of each kanji. If I didn’t reach at least 80 points, I didn’t continue. I advise anyone interested in studying Japanese to believe in this course.

Ever since I started studying Japanese, kanji has been my worst nightmare. I bought all the books on the market, downloaded apps, looked at different sites, but the few positive results I’ve seen have been thanks to this course. The tests help me understand when I’m making progress and if I don’t pass them, I just keep repeating the lessons until I get everything into my head.

In my first few months of studying I forgot a lot, but in time something happened to my memory and now I am able to memorize kanji easier, compared to when there were much less of them at the beginning. There is most likely a part of the brain that deals with memory, which can be compared to a muscle that needs to be trained. Is my brain in shape now? I think so!

I’m taking this kanji course without having ever studied Japanese and so far I have learned a lot of words and I’m happy with the kanji that I have memorized. I can access the student area from my smartphone so I can study anywhere and anytime for example when I have a break at school or when I’m on the bus to come home. Kanji and the language have to be studied together, so I am not a good example of this so don’t copy what I’m doing. But for me it works.

This is the best method ever created for learning kanji. The lessons are set up to help students memorize and understand their progress with worksheet and exercise evaluations. I don’t remember if I’ve already said that this is the best method ever for learning kanji.

I would like to work in the world of translation for video games. I’m studying Japanese and it’s a really tough language, kanji is a constant challenge. I try to study one/two kanji a day and if I stay consistent in three years I will have studied all of them, but I know that the following years will also be dedicated to continuous review. If you read my name one day in the small subtitles of some video games, it will also be thanks to this course.

I come from a family of modest means, so although this course may seem cheap for people in the Western world, it isn’t for people with an Indonesian salary. I wrote to the KanjiGO staff to bring this to their attention, and they allowed me to pay the price of the cheapest course (the one year access) and gave me a twenty percent discount on it, but they activated the complete one (the five year access) that costs triple. The course is perfect, without a study method like this I would have no idea how to learn kanji without making a mess of it.

The course has an infinite number of exercises, the words are well selected and I think their method of assigning a numerical value to each kanji and word is a great idea. In my old university book, if there was a list of ten words I would try to memorize all of them but the result was that I only remembered 1/3. With KanjiGO there are still ten words, but it tells you which ones to remember and which ones don’t matter, the result is that I still only remember 1/3, but now they are the important ones.

It is a very well done course, studying on a monitor or paper is a personal decision, but for the writing exercises paper is necessary. The amount of material available is endless, even if you study numerous hours per day I think it would take you a long time to finish the entire course. I have a very positive opinion about KanjiGO and I would recommend it.

I like KanjiGO very much, they have a study method which personally is really working well for me. The strong points of the course are its exercises and tests. Even if I pass the tests with good grades, I always try to repeat the old ones with the kanji that I have already studied. I was fortunate to find this course and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a specific study method for kanji.

KanjiGO is an excellent coach for studying kanji. I knew about the site for quite some time, but after failing my N3 exam I decided to enroll. I recommend this course to all people who are looking for an in-depth alternative method to kanji lessons inside the methods of learning Japanese.

I found a job at MUJI Fifth Avenue in NY, where I was introduced to a whole new world of culture which was completely unknown to me before finding this opportunity. This pushed me to start taking private Japanese lessons from a Japanese co-worker. When the time came to start studying kanji, I don’t remember how but I found this site and I immediately signed up. I’m getting so much better and I’m constantly learning new words so I can only say good things about the course.

Kanji isn’t impossible like many people may think before studying them, you just need to dedicate time, write a lot and be consistent. This course is what you need if you want to study kanji at any level. I bought the full course which I probably won’t finish, but if I can do half of it, it will be a success for me.

I started researching online and happened to find the KanjiGO website. I didn’t think twice about enrolling in the $80 basic course. Now it’s been almost a year since I’ve signed up and I have arrived at the 160th kanji. I try to study a new kanji every two days and I bought some binders where I keep all the worksheets organized by numerical order. I’m delighted with this course, I can’t make any comparisons with other courses, but I can say that I enjoy it a lot.

I already knew about 300 kanji, but after signing up I decided to restart the kanji from number 1 using their teaching method. I can now understand why this course has so many good reviews, they don’t only limit themselves to a list of kanji and words but they actually create real lessons for each kanji and numerical value for every word, too. They do this for over 2,000 kanji and thousands of words, it’s truly incredible.

From the moment you sign up, you have immediate access to the lessons. Each lesson is divided into three blocks. In the first block there are new kanji words to study, in the second there is a reading section with words already studied from the previous kanji and in the last block there is an entire worksheet test to fill out. You add up the test results and from the score you evaluate whether or not to continue with the next lessons. The course is structured very well.

I didn’t like not being able to try it before enrolling, and I also don’t like the fact that the answers to the tests are only available in the student area and they aren’t printable. This course was given to me as a gift by my ex-boyfriend, but if there was ever a good thing that he had done, it was to give me this gift. Obviously it’s not a magical course, if you don’t study and put some mental effort into it, you won’t learn kanji even after one hundred years. Rather than continuously learning new kanji, I do everything in my power to not forget those already memorized. I’m not really a good writer, but I have a good memory and so far I’m satisfied with my results. My conclusion is positive.

My name is Clémence and I attend a language high school in my city, and my favorite language to study is Japanese. I asked my parents to let me take the KanjiGO course, because Japanese is the second language we study, so we don’t spend much time on it and the program is too slow. And also because after I finish high school I would like to enroll in the INALCO in Paris. The more kanji I can memorize in these last two years of high school, the easier my first years of university will be. I showed the worksheets to my classmates and some of them signed up as well because of my recommendation.

This course is very useful for whoever is looking for a specific study method for kanji. It’s very well organized, it starts from the basic kanji of N5 and goes all the way to the advanced ones of N1. Just a small criticism, they do not issue any certificates, but because it’s an online course I can understand that it isn’t possible. I am Filipino but I live and work in France. With my French salary in euros I could buy it, but with my previous salary in the Philippines it would have been impossible for me to register.
